A Trillion Rupee Question !

India Two wheeler sales : ~1 Million Units per month
So guess what would be the total two wheeler sales for this year from Jan'10 to Dec'10 is 12 Million ie,1 crore 20 Lacks vehicles (Only if the sales is maintained at the same level ) .If there is 20% growth in sales for year 2011 would eventually takes count to 1.5 million vehicles. ie,1.5 Crore units.

Here few sales count in Feb and Jan.
Hero Honda

Bajaj Auto
The country's second largest two-wheeler maker Bajaj Auto today reported 78.03% jump in motorcycle sales at 2,34,623 units in February.

So in another 5 yr period there will be an addition of approximately 60 million two wheeles on indian roads.(Between 6 to 8 Crore Two wheelers)

SO.......
1.Where is the Road! Capacity requirement of infrastructure?
2.Amount of Crude imported to India!
3.Increase in refinery capacity!
4.And finally the by-product of firing Gasoline! CO2,CO,etc ie,Pollution?

So where/what is the Road map plan to control the pollution in india.
In next 20 yrs whether India really going to cut the emission by 30% from the current level???

A Trillion INR question!
